The Push Forward Now Collegiate Scholarship is available for full-time or part-time students pursuing their undergraduate and graduate degree from an accredited program in the U.S. during the Fall - Spring academic years. Scholarships will be awarded to eligible applicants who submit all the requirements as noted below and a committee will review. Scholarship awards vary based on the criteria below.

ALL Applications will open up in June 2025 for the Fall 2025-Spring 2026 scholarship period.

Eligibility Criteria for all Students
When starting an application, please use an email address you will continue to operate beyond this year. This email account will communicate all necessary information, including the final applicants selected for scholarships and any requirements you may have to receive your award. Submit information via email to [email protected]

Graduate School - Eligibility
1. Black/African-American students (US Citizens only).
2. Full-time or part-time students pursuing their Graduate’s degree at an accredited undergraduate school in the U.S.
3. Applicants will be evaluated based on the areas outlined under Application Requirements.
4. Student has not received a previous scholarship from Push Forward Now.

Graduate Application Requirements
• An official acceptance letter from the university.
• Completed essay on how to empower African American communities. It should not exceed 1,000 words.
• Current resume.
• A recent photograph for publicity purposes.
• 30-60 second short video stating how the scholarship will support your education and career.

Award Details
One winner will be notified no later than July 31, 2025, and will receive $2,000 award for the 2025 calendar year.

Undergraduate or Community College - Eligibility
1. Black/African-American students (US Citizens only).
2. Full-time or part-time students pursuing a degree (BS, BA, AA, Certification) at an accredited college or trade school in the U.S.
3. Applicants will be evaluated based on the areas outlined under Application Requirements.
4. Student has not received a previous scholarship from Push Forward Now.

Undergraduate Application Requirements
• An official acceptance letter or copy of Fall class schedule.
• Completed essay on how the scholarship will benefit your academic and career goals. It should not exceed 500 words.
• A recent photograph for publicity purposes.

Undergraduate Award Details
Four winners will be notified no later than July 31, 2025, and will receive $1,000 award for the 2025 calendar year.
