About our Scholarship Program

The Push Forward Now Collegiate Scholarship is available for full-time or part-time students pursuing their undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited program in the U.S. during the Fall - Spring academic years. Scholarships will be awarded to eligible applicants who submit all the requirements as noted below and a committee will review. Scholarship awards vary based on the criteria below.

The 2025 School Year scholarship period is now closed.  Our 2026 Scholarship entries will open in April 2026.

Eligibility Criteria for all Students
When starting an application, please use an email address you will continue to operate beyond this year. This email account will communicate all necessary information, including the final applicants selected for scholarships and any requirements you may have to receive your award. Submit information via email to [email protected]

Application Requirements
• An official acceptance letter from the university.
• Completed essay on how to empower African American communities. It should not exceed 1,000 words.
• Current resume.
• A recent photograph for publicity purposes.
• 30-60 second short video stating how the scholarship will support your education and career.

Application Requirements
• An official acceptance letter or copy of Fall class schedule.
• Completed essay on how the scholarship will benefit your academic and career goals. It should not exceed 500 words.
• A recent photograph for publicity purposes.

Award Details
Winners will be notified no later than July 31, 2026, and will receive $1,000 - $3,000 award for the 2026 calendar year.
